You’re faced with making financial decisions in a situation you’ve not faced before and are quite unlikely to experience again. That’s why we’ve created the advice line to help you to navigate your finances to ensure you stay afloat during and after the crisis.
Business support
The past couple of weeks the UK Government announced several financial support packages available to businesses. These include:
- Reclaiming Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)
- Job Retention Scheme
- Temporary Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme
- Extended payment facility for tax payments
Read our full breakdown of the packages here.
Dedicated team
Since these measures were announced, our team are continuing to extensively research the finances available in order to provide the most up-to-date advice. It’s essential that you not only understand the immediate help, but also the long-term effect some of these packages may have. Bills, mortgages and wages need to be paid. But, with all the noise and daily updates, it’s understandably hard to know where to start.

Individual support
For those who are Self-Employed are not eligible for the above schemes, there are other options available to you, such as:
- Claim for Universal Credit and Contributory Employment and Support Allowance
- Hardship fund
- Staggered tax repayment plans
Directors who are unable to claim their wage via the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme are advised to consider the above options as soon as possible.
Delaying tax payments and Direct Debits helps to ease the burden for now, but should not be looked at as a long-term solution. We can help you prioritise current payments, and with deciding what support is best for you to claim for.
